DAZZLING costumes worn by legendary Queen singer Freddie Mercury are being preserved for future generations of fans.

All-in-one Lycra suits, fake leather trousers and spangly shirts are being treated by experts at Winchester, Hants, to stop them rotting.

They will go into a museum in memory of Freddie, who died of Aids in 1991 aged 45.
