MADONNA went from Queen of pop to Queen frontman when she watched London musical We Will Rock You disguised as Freddie Mercury.

The Material Girl, 47, is a huge fan of the camp rockers and sported the singer’s trademark moustache and spandex catsuit as she went to see 46-year-old Ben Elton’s hilarious show at the West End’s Dominion Theatre.

And she was blown away by the clever use of Queen hits to tell the story of a futuristic battle to save rock ‘n’ roll.

So Madge – who starred in the movie version of 57-year-old Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s show Evita – has been inspired to pen her own musical about The Beatles.

An insider said: “Since all the fans go in fancy dress, Madonna went unnoticed in her disguise. She also wants to create a similar celebration of The Beatles called Magical Mystery Tour.” We’re sure it’ll be A Kind of Magic.
